We were hired to complete a custom fireplace remodel for a local homeowner. The project began by removing all wood trim around the gas insert. Next, we added framing for both a new hearth and mantel. Once the mantel was secured, we built legs and added trim details to contrast nicely with the flagstone surrounding the fireplace. After installing all stone-work, we prepped and painted everything in white chalk paint. This custom fireplace remodel was a design collaboration that took about one week. We finished the job right before Christmas!
